You want to be sure this certification is the right next step for you. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get from professionals just like you.
Do I need to be certified before I enroll?
Yes. You need an NCCA-accredited personal training or group fitness certification, be 18 or older, have at least one year of experience, and be CPR/AED certified. Not certified yet? We make it easy with 40% off the American Council on Exercise (ACE) certification directly through our site.

How often do I need to recertify?To keep your skills current and your certification active, recertification is required every three years. During that time, you’ll need to complete 12 hours of continuing education.

Where can I earn my CEUs?
We offer affordable continuing education through our Fit Academy and our partner FlowForward Wellness Center, including CEUs in yoga, holistic wellness, and more. You can choose to complete six of Fit Academy's continuing education courses or five courses plus one FlowForward Wellness Center class. Our courses cover all of the topics included in your certification curriculum—making it easy and affordable to stay up to date.
